Hassan district minister KM Shivalingegowda has pledged to ensure transparency in the spending for this year's Hasanamba Jatre Mahotsava. The district administration initially approved 48 works estimated at Rs 13.5 crore, but steps are being taken to reduce costs following public criticism. The review will be conducted openly with stakeholders to ensure accountability. Final expenditure details will be published after works are completed and accounts are finalised. Allegations of contractors receiving excessive rates were raised during a meeting with officials.

हासन जिला मंत्री केएम शिवलिंगेगौड़ा ने इस साल के हसनम्बा जत्रे महोत्सव के खर्च में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित करने का वादा किया है। जिला प्रशासन ने शुरू में 13.5 करोड़ रुपये के अनुमानित 48 कार्यों को मंजूरी दी थी, लेकिन जनता की आलोचना के बाद लागत कम करने के कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं। जवाबदेही सुनिश्चित करने के लिए हितधारकों के साथ खुले तौर पर समीक्षा की जाएगी। काम पूरा होने और खातों को अंतिम रूप देने के बाद अंतिम व्यय विवरण प्रकाशित किया जाएगा। अधिकारियों के साथ एक बैठक के दौरान ठेकेदारों को अत्यधिक दरें मिलने के आरोप लगाए गए थे।
