Waste collection in Jaipur's Kishanpole zone, including the Walled City, is severely disrupted by repeated strikes from garbage hopper drivers and helpers. The workers have gone on strike five to six times in the past 15 days, exacerbating sanitation issues as Diwali approaches. This disruption poses a concern for residents, traders, and tourists in the narrow lanes. Councillors have raised the issue with municipal officials, who are reportedly discussing the workers' experience certificates to resolve the problem. The mayor stated he is looking into the matter to find a solution.
