CITU Supports Agitating Swarna Gramam Employees

The Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) has staged a protest in Visakhapatnam in support of Swarna Gramam and Swarna Ward secretariat employees. CITU leaders are demanding the government resolve pending issues for these employees, including promotions, notional increments, and payment of nine months' arrears. They also called for a reduction in workload and an end to alleged harassment. Additionally, CITU requested the release of employees arrested during a previous protest in Vijayawada and the withdrawal of cases against them.
