The World Health Organization reports that while Ebola tracing efforts in DR Congo have improved, the virus continues to spread. Hidden transmission chains are being fueled by patients who reach advanced stages of the disease without receiving medical care. Deaths are still occurring outside of health facilities and known transmission zones, indicating ongoing challenges in containing the outbreak effectively.
