कांग्रेस सांसद इमरान मसूद ने जलवायु कार्यकर्ता सोनम वांगचुक पर सरकार से सौदा करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने वांगचुक की तुलना अन्ना हजारे से की। वांगचुक ने हाल ही में केंद्रीय मंत्रियों से बातचीत के बाद अपना 26 दिन का अनशन तोड़ा था। बीजेपी ने कांग्रेस की इस टिप्पणी को कार्यकर्ता का अपमान बताया है। वहीं, कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी मंत्री के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी रखे हुए है।
