NCLAT Scraps Insolvency Proceedings Against Polycab Over ₹2.78 Crore Claim

The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has set aside insolvency proceedings initiated against Polycab India Ltd. The case stemmed from a ₹2.78 crore claim by supplier Asier Metals Pvt. Ltd. for unpaid dues. NCLAT ruled that the National Company Law Tribunal's Ahmedabad bench wrongly admitted the insolvency case. The tribunal cancelled the NCLT's order and all subsequent steps, providing relief to the wire and cable maker. Polycab stated that the matter is a commercial dispute and their business fundamentals remain strong.

National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) ने Polycab India Ltd. के खिलाफ शुरू की गई दिवालियापन की कार्यवाही को रद्द कर दिया है। यह मामला आपूर्तिकर्ता Asier Metals Pvt. Ltd. द्वारा 2.78 करोड़ रुपये के अवैतनिक बकाये के दावे से उपजा था। NCLAT ने फैसला सुनाया कि National Company Law Tribunal की अहमदाबाद पीठ ने गलती से दिवालियापन का मामला स्वीकार कर लिया था। ट्रिब्यूनल ने NCLT के आदेश और उसके बाद के सभी कदमों को रद्द कर दिया, जिससे तार और केबल निर्माता को राहत मिली है। पॉलीकैब ने कहा कि यह मामला एक व्यावसायिक विवाद है और उनके व्यवसाय के मूल सिद्धांत मजबूत बने हुए हैं।
