Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta, known for directing films like 'Kaante' and 'Shootout at Lokhandwala', has passed away at the age of 57. He reportedly died after falling inside his Mumbai residence and sustaining a head injury. Friends and colleagues from the film fraternity, including Fardeen Khan, Ronit Roy, and Rakesh Roshan, paid their last respects at his home. The family has not raised any suspicions, and his body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Gupta's last directorial venture was 'The Miranda Brothers', released in 2024.
