India Sends Bailey Bridge Parts To Nepal

India has dispatched the first consignment of components for a 70-metre Bailey bridge to Nepal to aid connectivity in the flood-affected Betrawati region. This assistance is part of India's ongoing humanitarian support following devastating flash floods on August 26, which tragically claimed nearly 1,400 lives and left over 5,000 missing. The bridge components were handed over to Nepal's Road Division in Hetauda.

भारत ने नेपाल को बाढ़ प्रभावित बेतरावती क्षेत्र में कनेक्टिविटी सुधारने के लिए 70 मीटर के बेली ब्रिज के पुर्जों की पहली खेप भेजी है। यह मदद भारत के मानवीय समर्थन का हिस्सा है। 26 अगस्त को आई विनाशकारी बाढ़ में लगभग 1,400 लोगों की जान गई थी और 5,000 से ज़्यादा लापता हो गए थे। ब्रिज के पुर्जे हेटौडा में नेपाल के रोड डिवीजन को सौंप दिए गए।
