Yingkiong Rally Cleared With Traffic, Safety Restrictions By Administration

The Upper Siang district administration has granted permission for a peaceful rally in Yingkiong, following a no-objection certificate from the police. Organised by the SUMP Affected Area Youth Association and Siang Indigenous Farmers Forum Youth Wing, the rally will have specific conditions to ensure public safety and traffic flow. Participants are prohibited from obstructing traffic, carrying weapons, or exceeding loudspeaker limits. Alcohol consumption is also banned, and organisers must comply with administrative directives, including restrictions on gatherings near DC and SP offices.
