Renowned Cardiologist G. Vijayaraghavan Passes Away

Renowned cardiologist and KIMS HEALTH founding director G. Vijayaraghavan passed away at 84. Awarded the Padma Shri in 2009, he was instrumental in establishing KIMS Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram in 2002 and led its Cardiology department for over two decades. He also spearheaded academic and research initiatives, launching more than twenty DNB courses. Dr. Vijayaraghavan pioneered India's first 2D echocardiography laboratory in 1980 and focused on preventive cardiology.
