Indian Bank Hikes Special Term Deposit Rates By 15 Basis Points

Indian Bank has increased interest rates on its special term deposit schemes by 15 basis points, effective October 23. The 'Ind Grow' deposit scheme, maturing in 555 days, will now offer 6.80 per cent interest, up from 6.65 per cent. Similarly, the 'Ind Prosper' scheme, with a tenure of 777 days, will yield 6.75 per cent, an increase from 6.60 per cent. This move follows the Reserve Bank of India's recent 25 basis point hike in the repo rate to 5.50 per cent.

इंडियन बैंक ने 23 अक्टूबर से अपनी स्पेशल टर्म डिपॉजिट स्कीमों पर ब्याज दरें 15 बेसिस पॉइंट बढ़ा दी हैं। 'इंड ग्रो' डिपॉजिट स्कीम, जो 555 दिनों में मैच्योर होती है, अब 6.65 प्रतिशत से बढ़कर 6.80 प्रतिशत ब्याज देगी। इसी तरह, 777 दिनों की अवधि वाली 'इंड प्रॉस्पर' स्कीम पर 6.60 प्रतिशत से बढ़कर 6.75 प्रतिशत ब्याज मिलेगा। यह कदम रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया द्वारा हाल ही में रेपो रेट में 25 बेसिस पॉइंट की बढ़ोतरी कर इसे 5.50 प्रतिशत करने के बाद उठाया गया है।
