Former Minister G Sudhakaran Miffed Over Bridge Inauguration Snub

Former PWD minister G Sudhakaran expressed his displeasure at being excluded from the inauguration of the Makkekadavu-Nerekadavu bridge. He stated he received no invitation despite initiating the Rs 80 crore project during the first Pinarayi Vijayan government. Sudhakaran noted that only MLA A M Arif was directly connected to the construction among those on stage, but even he couldn't clearly present the facts. The bridge connects Alappuzha and Kottayam districts and was inaugurated by Chief Minister V D Satheesan.

पूर्व पीडब्ल्यूडी मंत्री जी सुधाकरन ने मक्केकडावु-नेरेकडावु पुल के उद्घाटन समारोह से उन्हें बाहर रखे जाने पर अपनी नाराज़गी ज़ाहिर की। उन्होंने कहा कि पहली पिनराई विजयन सरकार के दौरान 80 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजना शुरू करने के बावजूद उन्हें कोई निमंत्रण नहीं मिला। सुधाकरन ने कहा कि मंच पर मौजूद लोगों में से केवल विधायक ए एम आरिफ ही निर्माण से सीधे तौर पर जुड़े थे, लेकिन वे भी तथ्यों को स्पष्ट रूप से प्रस्तुत नहीं कर सके। यह पुल अलप्पुझा और कोट्टायम जिलों को जोड़ता है और इसका उद्घाटन मुख्यमंत्री वी डी सतीसन ने किया।
