Safety, inclusion, and cultural diversity are the primary reasons Indian students select Canada for higher education, according to a recent international student survey. The Canadian Bureau for International Education surveyed over 21,000 students across 84 institutions. While Indian students prioritize these social factors, students from China focused on immigration pathways, and Nigerians and Filipinos sought employment opportunities. The survey also revealed that programme offerings, reputation, and location significantly influence institutional choices, with graduate students prioritizing professor expertise.
