Delhi HC Asks Lawyer, Scribe To Settle Defamation

The Delhi High Court has urged a journalist and a woman lawyer involved in a defamation suit to explore an amicable settlement. The journalist, Omar Rashid, filed the suit against two women lawyers who made social media allegations of sexual harassment. Justice Manoj Jain noted their past relationship and suggested finding a solution. The court also issued notices regarding an interim application to restrain further defamatory posts and remove existing ones.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने एक पत्रकार और एक महिला वकील को मानहानि के मामले में आपसी सुलह का रास्ता खोजने को कहा है। पत्रकार उमर रशीद ने दो महिला वकीलों के खिलाफ केस किया है, जिन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पर यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोप लगाए थे। जस्टिस मनोज जैन ने उनके पुराने रिश्ते को देखते हुए समाधान निकालने की सलाह दी। कोर्ट ने आगे अपमानजनक पोस्ट रोकने और मौजूदा पोस्ट हटाने की अंतरिम अर्जी पर भी नोटिस जारी किए हैं।
