Jellyfish Force Partial Shutdown of French Nuclear Plant

France's Gravelines nuclear power station in the north has been partially shut down due to an influx of jellyfish. This is the second consecutive year the plant has faced such an issue. The marine creatures are reportedly blocking the cooling water intakes, necessitating the temporary closure of some units to prevent overheating and ensure safety.

फ्रांस के उत्तरी हिस्से में स्थित ग्रावेलिन्स परमाणु बिजली घर में जेलीफ़िश के घुसने की वजह से आंशिक रूप से काम रोक दिया गया है। पिछले साल भी इसी वजह से प्लांट को दिक्कत हुई थी। बताया जा रहा है कि ये समुद्री जीव कूलिंग के लिए इस्तेमाल होने वाले पानी के इनटेक को ब्लॉक कर रहे हैं, जिससे कुछ यूनिट्स को ओवरहीटिंग से बचाने के लिए बंद करना पड़ा है।
