Actor Vijay Deverakonda has drawn comparisons between his latest film, Ranabaali, and Hollywood classics like Braveheart, Inglourious Basterds, and Schindler's List. He described Ranabaali as India's mass-commercial take on these films, set in the 1800s and depicting a fight against British colonial rule. Deverakonda expressed immense pride in the film, ranking it among his top three career achievements. However, his statements have sparked confusion and criticism online, with many questioning the validity of the comparisons and suggesting the audience will ultimately decide the film's merit.
