The United Arab Emirates' presidential adviser, Anwar Gargash, stated that military solutions will only complicate the current crisis with Iran and will not provide quick resolutions. He expressed hope for a diplomatic breakthrough through Qatar-led mediations to avert further confrontation between the U.S. and Iran. Gargash noted that while U.S. and Iranian positions are far apart, diplomacy is the primary tool. The ongoing conflict, which began with joint strikes and subsequent Iranian attacks, has been a watershed year for the region, prompting Gulf nations to boost defense capabilities.
