Collector Urges Timely Jal Jeevan Mission Works

Chittoor District Collector Sumit Kumar has directed officials to expedite all drinking water supply works under the Jal Jeevan Mission and complete them on schedule. Reviewing the District Water and Sanitation Mission meeting, he stressed the government's goal of providing safe drinking water to rural households under the Har Ghar Jal initiative. Officials were instructed to prepare action plans for water-scarce areas, considering potential El Niño impacts and deficient rainfall.

चित्तूर के कलेक्टर सुमित कुमार ने अधिकारियों को जल जीवन मिशन के तहत पीने के पानी की सप्लाई वाले सभी कामों को तेज़ी से पूरा करने और समय पर खत्म करने का निर्देश दिया है। डिस्ट्रिक्ट वॉटर एंड सैनिटेशन मिशन की मीटिंग में उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार का लक्ष्य हर घर जल योजना के तहत ग्रामीण घरों में साफ पीने का पानी पहुंचाना है।
