Manvanth Kumar, son of a bus driver, has made a remarkable debut in the Ranji Trophy 2026-27 season. In only his second First Class match, the 22-year-old scored an impressive 135 runs against Saurashtra, coming in at the No. 9 position. This century, along with his previous performances, has brought a breath of fresh air to the Karnataka team. Manvanth has also previously excelled as a fast bowler, being a leading wicket-taker in the Maharaja Trophy and taking a five-wicket haul in the U-23 Trophy final.

बस ड्राइवर के बेटे मनवंत कुमार ने रणजी ट्रॉफी 2026-27 सीज़न में शानदार डेब्यू किया है। अपने दूसरे फर्स्ट क्लास मैच में ही 22 साल के इस खिलाड़ी ने नंबर 9 पर बल्लेबाजी करते हुए सौराष्ट्र के खिलाफ 135 रन बनाए। इस शतक ने कर्नाटक टीम में नई जान फूंकी है। मनवंत इससे पहले एक तेज़ गेंदबाज़ के तौर पर भी छाए रहे हैं, उन्होंने महाराजा ट्रॉफी में सबसे ज़्यादा विकेट लिए थे और U-23 ट्रॉफी फाइनल में पांच विकेट लिए थे।
