Organised offenders could face fines of ₹10 crore.

सरकार ने सरकारी परीक्षाओं में नकल रोकने के लिए भारत के पेपर लीक विरोधी कानून में बड़ा बदलाव करने का प्रस्ताव दिया है। प्रस्तावित पब्लिक एग्जामिनेशन अमेंडमेंट बिल 2026 के तहत दोषियों को कड़ी सजा का प्रावधान है। इसमें व्यक्तियों के लिए 10 साल तक की जेल और ₹50 लाख तक का जुर्माना शामिल है। संगठित गिरोहों पर ₹10 करोड़ तक का जुर्माना लगाया जा सकता है।
