Kherson Truce Ends After Six Days, Evacuations Completed Amidst Renewed Hostilities

A six-day localized truce in Ukraine's Kherson region has concluded without violations, but also without an extension. This ceasefire facilitated the evacuation of hundreds of residents from the occupied town of Oleshky. During the truce, 167 civilians, including children and those with mobility issues, were moved to safer areas. While the truce offered a respite and access to essential supplies, Russia reportedly refused an offer to extend it. Meanwhile, Russian strikes impacted power supplies in Ukraine, and Ukraine reported drone attacks on a Russian industrial site.
