Two UP Cops Arrested For Extortion Cases

Two police constables and another individual have been arrested in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, in connection with two extortion and robbery cases. Two other accused have surrendered before a court. The cases, registered on September 17 and 22, involve allegations of forced transfers of money totaling approximately ₹2.15 lakh and ₹1.65 lakh. A special investigation team was formed to probe the involvement of police personnel.

जौनपुर, उत्तर प्रदेश में दो पुलिस कांस्टेबल और एक अन्य व्यक्ति को वसूली और लूटपाट के दो मामलों में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। दो अन्य आरोपी कोर्ट में सरेंडर कर चुके हैं। 17 और 22 सितंबर को दर्ज इन मामलों में करीब ₹2.15 लाख और ₹1.65 लाख की जबरन वसूली का आरोप है। पुलिसकर्मियों की संलिप्तता की जांच के लिए एक विशेष जांच दल बनाया गया था।
