IISER Mohali Celebrates 20 Years of Innovation

IISER Mohali is celebrating its 20th Foundation Day, marking two decades of scientific advancement. The institute currently hosts around 1,800 BS-MS students and 500 PhD scholars. Over the years, IISER Mohali has filed over 45 patents, including seven international ones. Its incubator, iRISE, has supported more than 40 startups in three years, securing Rs 3.42 crore for deep-tech entrepreneurship. Research is ongoing in quantum technology, climate science, and advanced materials.

आईआईएसईआर मोहाली अपना 20वां स्थापना दिवस मना रहा है, जो वैज्ञानिक प्रगति के दो दशक पूरे होने का प्रतीक है। फिलहाल, यहाँ करीब 1,800 बीएस-एमएस छात्र और 500 पीएचडी स्कॉलर हैं। इतने सालों में, आईआईएसईआर मोहाली ने 45 से ज़्यादा पेटेंट फाइल किए हैं, जिनमें सात अंतरराष्ट्रीय पेटेंट भी शामिल हैं। इसके इनक्यूबेटर, आईआरआईआईएसई (iRISE) ने तीन साल में 40 से ज़्यादा स्टार्टअप्स को सपोर्ट किया है, जिन्हें डीप-टेक उद्यमिता के लिए 3.42 करोड़ रुपये मिले हैं।
