Scientists Grow Brain Cortex In Lab
Nagaland Post · science
Scientists have successfully grown a human brain cortex in a laboratory for the first time ever. This breakthrough follows the creation of the world's first organoid, a clump of cells mimicking a mouse's gut, by biochemists Hans Clevers and Toshiro Sato in 2009. In subsequent years, researchers developed various lab-grown organs for testing therapies and investigations.
