IMD Forecasts Fresh Low-Pressure System Over Bay of Bengal Around

IMD has predicted the formation of a new low-pressure area over the southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal around. This system is expected to develop under the influence of an upper-air cyclonic circulation. While dry weather is anticipated across Odisha, rainfall activity may increase at some places. The low-pressure system is forecast to move west-northwestwards and intensify over the subsequent three days, with its potential path towards Andhra Pradesh or West Bengal coasts still being assessed.
