Alkem Labs Launches New Epilepsy Drug in India

Alkem Laboratories has introduced NeuCeno (cenobamate), an anti-seizure medication for adults with partial-onset seizures. This once-daily oral therapy marks the first launch of cenobamate in India, offering a new treatment option for epilepsy management. Epilepsy affects an estimated 9.4 million people in India, with many struggling with uncontrolled seizures. Clinical studies showed cenobamate reduced seizure frequency by up to 78% in adults, with some achieving seizure freedom.
