Veteran French coach Claude Le Roy, 78, began his second stint with Congo Brazzaville with a 1-0 defeat against Namibia in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. Le Roy, who has coached six African nations over 41 years, previously led Congo Brazzaville to the 2015 AFCON quarter-finals. Namibia secured their victory with a 47th-minute goal from Bethuel Muzeu. This match is part of the qualifying campaign for the 2027 AFCON tournament.
