The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case concerning race in middle school admissions, three years after ruling against affirmative action in college admissions. The case involves admissions to four selective middle schools in Montgomery County, Maryland, where parents allege the district's policy unfairly disadvantages Asian American students. The court will determine if the parent group has sufficient evidence of discrimination for the case to proceed.
