Monaco Bombing Suspect Claims HUR Superiors Ordered Attack

A former Ukrainian security services officer linked to a Monaco bomb attack has broken his silence, telling the BBC he believes senior members of Ukraine's military intelligence agency, HUR, ordered the operation. Vitalii Zhykovych, speaking from prison, claims an active-duty HUR officer named Vladyslav Reut proposed the attack on multi-millionaire Vadym Yermolayev. Zhykovych alleges Reut acted with authorization from his superiors and provided explosives to the woman who planted the bomb. The woman was later found dead, and Zhykovych was arrested for her murder, though Reut later changed his testimony.
