An Indian sailor was among five crew members killed by pirates aboard a hijacked fuel tanker off Somalia. The Puntland Maritime Police Force (PMPF) confirmed the deaths, which included three Pakistanis, one Indian, and one Myanmar national. The PMPF successfully retook control of the Palau-flagged MT Honour 25, which had been held since April, arresting 16 suspected pirates. Another tanker, MT Eureka, was also released the same day after being held by pirates.
