Fintech firm Paytm reported a significant 79% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit for the first quarter, reaching Rs 220 crore. This marks a substantial rise from Rs 123 crore in the same period last year. The company's board, however, has decided against proceeding with a bonus issue at this juncture.
