US to Require Air Travellers Declare No DRC Visit in 21 Days

India Today · world

The United States will implement a new rule requiring passengers on flights to the US to declare they have not visited the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the past 21 days. This measure, aimed at preventing the spread of Ebola, will take effect on November 3. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had previously imposed similar restrictions in May, which were later extended to US citizens. The CDC is also barring foreign nationals who visited Uganda or South Sudan recently from entering the US.
