Man Gets Three Years Rigorous Imprisonment For False Marriage Promise

A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to three years of rigorous imprisonment by the Nashik district additional sessions court for falsely promising marriage to a woman and subsequently cheating her. The accused was convicted under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, for establishing physical relations based on deceitful means and for cheating. He was also fined Rs 20,000. The court found him guilty after reviewing testimonies and evidence presented by the prosecution.

नाशिक जिला अतिरिक्त सत्र न्यायालय ने एक 23 वर्षीय व्यक्ति को एक महिला से शादी का झूठा वादा करके उसे धोखा देने के आरोप में तीन साल की कड़ी कैद की सजा सुनाई है। आरोपी को भारतीय न्याय संहिता, 2023 की धाराओं के तहत धोखे से शारीरिक संबंध बनाने और धोखाधड़ी का दोषी पाया गया। उस पर 20,000 रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया गया है। अभियोजन पक्ष द्वारा पेश गवाहों के बयान और सबूतों की समीक्षा के बाद अदालत ने उसे दोषी पाया।
