US President Donald Trump defended his acceptance of a luxury Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar during a campaign rally in Arizona. He stated that the appropriate response to receiving a gift is to say thank you, adding that when given a 747, one says two words: 'thank you.' Trump recounted asking to borrow the aircraft, with the emir offering it as a gift instead. His remarks came as rising living costs are a major concern for Americans ahead of the midterm elections.
