PARAKH Proposes Classroom Interventions To Address Learning Gaps

PARAKH, the national assessment regulator, has proposed targeted classroom interventions to address learning gaps identified in its 2024 national school survey. The regulator suggested identifying weak competencies and tailoring teaching methods to monthly assessments and data-based reviews. These interventions include play-based learning for foundational stages and critical-thinking activities for higher grades. The plan aims to translate national assessment results into district-level action, involving over 600 education officials from all states and Union Territories in workshops to develop tailored action plans for improving student learning.
