Supreme Court to Hear Election Commission Suspension Plea

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a petition concerning the Election Commission, with proceedings scheduled for next week. Filed by Rakesh Kumar Singh and argued by senior advocate Vikas Singh, the plea seeks the suspension of the Chief Election Commissioner pending a decision. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने चुनाव आयोग से जुड़ी एक याचिका पर सुनवाई के लिए सहमति दे दी है, जिसकी कार्यवाही अगले हफ़्ते होगी। राकेश कुमार सिंह द्वारा दायर और वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता विकास सिंह द्वारा बहस की गई इस याचिका में निर्णय लंबित रहने तक मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के निलंबन की मांग की गई है। याचिका में SIR प्रक्रिया के तहत की गई कार्रवाइयों को रद्द करने और सेवानिवृत्त सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश की अध्यक्षता में एक विशेष जांच समिति के गठन का भी अनुरोध किया गया है।
