He warned senior Energy department officials that they face suspension if duties are neglected, especially during the crucial agricultural period. Reddy questioned the lack of action to enhance power generation despite adequate coal supply. He emphasized that officials must follow instructions to ensure uninterrupted power to the farm sector, likening the challenge to the Covid-19 pandemic and demanding preparedness until next June.

तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री ए. रेवंत रेड्डी ने किसानों को हो रही बिजली कटौती से गहरी नाराजगी जताई है। उन्होंने ऊर्जा विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को चेतावनी दी है कि अगर काम में लापरवाही बरती गई, खासकर खेती के अहम समय में, तो उन्हें निलंबित किया जा सकता है। रेड्डी ने पूछा कि कोयले की पर्याप्त आपूर्ति के बावजूद बिजली उत्पादन बढ़ाने के लिए कोई कदम क्यों नहीं उठाया गया। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि कृषि क्षेत्र को निर्बाध बिजली सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अधिकारियों को निर्देशों का पालन करना चाहिए, और इस चुनौती की तुलना कोविड-19 महामारी से करते हुए अगले जून तक तैयारी की मांग की है।
