सरकार ने वित्तीय वर्ष के शुरुआती साढ़े तीन महीनों में ही अपने सालाना उर्वरक सब्सिडी बजट का 40% खर्च कर दिया है। इतनी जल्दी इतना पैसा खर्च होना बताता है कि शुरुआत में ही उर्वरकों की मांग बहुत ज़्यादा थी। साल के बाकी बचे समय के लिए यह तेज़ी से हुआ खर्च बजट पर दबाव डाल सकता है, जिससे आगे चलकर उर्वरकों की उपलब्धता और आवंटन पर असर पड़ सकता है।
