Nepal is actively discussing plans with local authorities to resettle victims of the devastating Bhotekoshi flash floods in safe locations, as their original homes are uninhabitable. The government has prioritized relief, relocation, and reconstruction efforts, coordinating with various agencies to address the needs of those affected. Minister Bikram Timilsina confirmed that developing new settlements is underway, with discussions focused on identifying appropriate and secure sites.

नेपाल सरकार भोटेकोशी नदी में आई विनाशकारी बाढ़ से प्रभावित लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर बसाने की योजना पर स्थानीय अधिकारियों के साथ मिलकर काम कर रही है। उनके घर रहने लायक नहीं बचे हैं। सरकार ने राहत, पुनर्वास और पुनर्निर्माण को प्राथमिकता दी है। मंत्री बिक्रम तिमल्सिना ने बताया कि नई बस्तियाँ बनाने का काम शुरू हो गया है और सुरक्षित जगहों की पहचान की जा रही है।
