Son Ordered to Vacate Mother's House After Claiming Ownership, Citing Rs 2.1 Lakh

The Delhi High Court has ordered a son and his wife to vacate his mother's house in Karawal Nagar. The son claimed co-ownership, stating he had given Rs 2.1 lakh for construction, but his mother presented documents like a GPA, Agreement to Sale, and Will to establish her ownership. The property was purchased in the mother's name in 1996 by her late husband. The court ruled against the son, who had continued living in the house after marriage and allegedly harassed his mother.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने बेटे और उसकी पत्नी को करोल बाग में मां के घर से खाली करने का आदेश दिया है। बेटे ने सह-मालिकाना हक का दावा किया था, यह कहते हुए कि उसने निर्माण के लिए 2.1 लाख रुपये दिए थे, लेकिन उसकी मां ने अपने मालिकाना हक को साबित करने के लिए जीपीए, बिक्री समझौता और वसीयत जैसे दस्तावेज पेश किए। यह संपत्ति 1996 में मां के दिवंगत पति ने मां के नाम पर खरीदी थी। कोर्ट ने बेटे के खिलाफ फैसला सुनाया, जो शादी के बाद से घर में रह रहा था और कथित तौर पर अपनी मां को परेशान करता था।
