Bengal CM Accuses Past Regime of Looting Resources, Promises Development

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has accused the previous administration of looting the state's natural resources and vowed that such practices will cease. He announced development plans for Alipurduar, focusing on forests, tourism, and higher education. Adhikari highlighted the reintroduction of tigers in Buxa reserve, stating it was merely on paper before. He also detailed plans for tea workers, including festival bonuses and central government schemes, and pledged to develop Alipurduar by leveraging its natural assets and cultural heritage.

पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने पिछले प्रशासन पर राज्य के प्राकृतिक संसाधनों को लूटने का आरोप लगाया है और कसम खाई है कि ऐसी प्रथाएं बंद होंगी। उन्होंने अलीपुरद्वार के लिए विकास योजनाओं की घोषणा की, जिसमें जंगल, पर्यटन और उच्च शिक्षा पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा। अधिकारी ने बुक्सा रिजर्व में बाघों को फिर से लाने पर प्रकाश डाला, यह कहते हुए कि यह पहले केवल कागजों पर था। उन्होंने चाय बागान मजदूरों के लिए त्योहार बोनस और केंद्र सरकार की योजनाओं सहित योजनाओं का भी विवरण दिया, और अलीपुरद्वार को उसकी प्राकृतिक संपदा और सांस्कृतिक विरासत का लाभ उठाकर विकसित करने का संकल्प लिया।
