Manipur Peace Needs Dialogue, Not Military: Kiren Rijiju

He addressed a conclave in New Delhi, emphasizing that the Meitei, Kuki, and Naga groups must engage in talks to find solutions. Rijiju also noted that historical humiliation of smaller communities by governments led to militancy in the Northeast. केंद्रीय मंत्री किरण रिजिजू ने कहा कि मणिपुर में स्थायी शांति के लिए लड़ने वाले समुदायों के बीच बातचीत ज़रूरी है, न कि सेना का हस्तक्षेप, क्योंकि इसके गंभीर दुष्प्रभाव होते हैं। उन्होंने नई दिल्ली में एक सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया कि समाधान खोजने के लिए मैतेई, कुकी और नागा समूहों को बातचीत करनी चाहिए। रिजिजू ने यह भी कहा कि सरकारों द्वारा छोटे समुदायों का ऐतिहासिक अपमान पूर्वोत्तर में उग्रवाद का कारण बना। उनका मानना है कि हथियार डालना और बातचीत को बढ़ावा देना इस क्षेत्र में शांति और विकास के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
