India Launches Indigenous AI Models Under IndiaAI Mission

Homegrown AI startups Soket Labs and ZenteiQ have launched new indigenously-developed large language models (LLMs) as part of the IndiaAI Mission. Soket's EKA-1 model, with 26.3 billion parameters, supports 22 Indian languages and English, targeting mathematics, coding, and reasoning. ZenteiQ's Dhīr 2B and Dhīr 5B models are open-source, multilingual, and designed for environments with limited connectivity. These domestic models aim to strengthen India's technological autonomy and boost productivity across various sectors.

घरेलू AI स्टार्टअप्स Soket Labs और ZenteiQ ने IndiaAI मिशन के तहत नए स्वदेशी रूप से विकसित बड़े भाषा मॉडल (LLMs) लॉन्च किए हैं। Soket का EKA-1 मॉडल, जिसमें 26.3 बिलियन पैरामीटर हैं, 22 भारतीय भाषाओं और अंग्रेजी का समर्थन करता है, जिसका लक्ष्य गणित, कोडिंग और तर्क है। ZenteiQ के Dhīr 2B और Dhīr 5B मॉडल ओपन-सोर्स, बहुभाषी हैं और सीमित कनेक्टिविटी वाले वातावरण के लिए डिज़ाइन किए गए हैं। इन घरेलू मॉडलों का उद्देश्य भारत की तकनीकी स्वायत्तता को मजबूत करना और विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उत्पादकता को बढ़ावा देना है।
