Harry Brook achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Englishman to score a double century in One Day International cricket. He also became the fastest player to reach this landmark in ODI history. Brook's remarkable innings saw him join an elite group of cricketers, including Chris Gayle, who have scored centuries across all formats of the game. Despite this personal achievement, Brook expressed that the innings held no value for him following the team's defeat against Sri Lanka.
