INDIA bloc seeks meeting with President Murmu on EC functioning

The opposition alliance seeks to discuss the functioning of the Election Commission and the SIR process. Sources indicate the President's Secretariat requested a delegation of no more than 10 members, to which the INDIA bloc has agreed. Meanwhile, CPI(M) MP John Brittas shared that his petition regarding the Election Commission's integrity has been forwarded to the government's legislative department.
