Undertrial Dies In Judicial Custody In Kolkata

A 33-year-old undertrial, Shubhajit Chakraborty, died at RG Kar Hospital on Monday night while in judicial custody in Kolkata. He was arrested in connection with a cyber fraud case involving a fake call centre. Chakraborty, a diabetic, had been unwell and his condition deteriorated, leading to his hospitalisation. A magistrate's inquiry has been ordered into his death, with jail authorities directed to submit a medical report within seven days.

कोलकाता में आरजी कर अस्पताल में सोमवार रात को एक कैदी, शुभजीत चक्रवर्ती, की मौत हो गई। वह साइबर फ्रॉड के एक मामले में जेल में था। शुभजीत डायबिटिक था और उसकी तबीयत खराब चल रही थी। उसकी मौत की मजिस्ट्रेट जांच के आदेश दिए गए हैं। जेल अधिकारियों को सात दिन में मेडिकल रिपोर्ट जमा करने को कहा गया है।
