NPS Scheme Naming Rules Revised By PFRDA For Easier Subscriber Choice

Business Standard · business

The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has revised the naming and display rules for National Pension System (NPS) schemes. Pension funds will no longer need to include category codes like A, B, C, D, and E in their Multiple Scheme Framework (MSF) offerings. However, they must still disclose the applicable growth category and risk level alongside the scheme name. Point of presence platforms will also generally have to show schemes from all pension funds within a subscriber's selected category.

Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA)
