Delhi-NCR is once again on the verge of becoming a "gas chamber" as air pollution levels rise with the onset of winter and falling temperatures. Stubble burning is further exacerbating the situation, despite the implementation of the first phase of the GRAP. The government has adopted stringent policies to combat this emergency, including a "no PUC no fuel" rule and a ban on polluting vehicles. Measures like 50% work-from-home for employees are also being introduced to reduce vehicular traffic.
