CEO Arrested in Rs 250 Crore Insurance Fraud Case

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested Madhumita Kaur, CEO of B Care Company, from Ranchi in connection with a Rs 250 crore insurance fraud. A total of 26 cases have been filed against Kaur and her associates across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Jharkhand. The company allegedly lured customers with lucrative benefits on insurance policies from major companies, promising to pay second-year premiums. However, investigators claim the company misappropriated funds and absconded, leaving investors with significant financial losses.

250 करोड़ रुपये के बीमा धोखाधड़ी मामले में CEO गिरफ्तार

उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस के आर्थिक अपराध शाखा (EOW) ने रांची से B Care Company की CEO मधुमिता कौर को 250 करोड़ रुपये के बीमा धोखाधड़ी के सिलसिले में गिरफ्तार किया है। उत्तर प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, बिहार और झारखंड में कौर और उनके साथियों के खिलाफ कुल 26 मामले दर्ज किए गए हैं। कंपनी पर आरोप है कि उसने बड़ी कंपनियों की बीमा पॉलिसियों पर आकर्षक लाभ का लालच देकर ग्राहकों को लुभाया और दूसरे साल के प्रीमियम का भुगतान करने का वादा किया। हालांकि, जांचकर्ताओं का दावा है कि कंपनी ने फंड की हेराफेरी की और निवेशकों को भारी वित्तीय नुकसान पहुंचाकर भाग गई।
