Delhi Schools Mandated To Improve Ventilation And Curb Dust

Delhi schools have been directed by the government to implement measures to combat air pollution during winter months. The Winter Action Plan 2026-27 mandates improvements in classroom ventilation, dust control through water sprinkling, and encouraging public transport use. Schools must also avoid dust-generating construction, expand green spaces, and promote recycling. Additionally, anti-firecracker campaigns and pollution awareness drives will be conducted between October and November to educate students on environmental protection and the health impacts of pollution.

दिल्ली के स्कूलों को सर्दियों के महीनों में वायु प्रदूषण से लड़ने के उपाय लागू करने का सरकारी निर्देश मिला है। विंटर एक्शन प्लान 2026-27 में क्लासरूम वेंटिलेशन में सुधार, पानी छिड़ककर धूल नियंत्रण और सार्वजनिक परिवहन के उपयोग को बढ़ावा देना अनिवार्य है। स्कूलों को धूल पैदा करने वाले निर्माण से बचना होगा, हरित क्षेत्र बढ़ाने होंगे और रीसाइक्लिंग को बढ़ावा देना होगा। इसके अलावा, छात्रों को पर्यावरण संरक्षण और प्रदूषण के स्वास्थ्य प्रभावों के बारे में शिक्षित करने के लिए अक्टूबर और नवंबर के बीच पटाखों के खिलाफ अभियान और प्रदूषण जागरूकता अभियान चलाए जाएंगे।
